Louisville Metro Government HRC Second Chance Supporting Business Certification Program

We appreciate your interest in the Louisville Metro Government’s Second Chance Supporting Business Certification Program. In accordance with LMCO §37.66; Lou. Metro Am. Ord. No. 185-2022, the Louisville and Jefferson County Human Relations Commission (HRC), shall develop and implement an eligibility process to identify and certify second chance supporting business enterprises.

The objectives of the Second Chance Supporting Business Certification Program are to: help with removing barriers to employment for individuals with criminal records, promote the inclusiveness of Second Chance Supporting Businesses within Louisville Metro Government’s procurement process, facilitate the equitable awarding of contracts to such enterprises. There is no fee for this service and once certified, your business may benefit in the following ways:

Your business will be listed on our website for up to one year from the date of issuance.
Louisville Metro departments and the public sector will have access to view your listed information.
